That Day Events
is a highly creative independent production company.
Alexis and Katy, childhood friends, set up a film production company, and
quickly branched into ‘event filming’ after being subjected to a number of
dated, overly long (not enjoyable!) wedding videos.
We decided there had to be another way to capture milestone events. And
there is. Our films are documentary in style, and very contemporary.
Our hand picked, unobtrusive, film crew work with creativity,
determination and energy to obtain what is needed from the shoot.We
use broadcast audio and visual equipment (Sony Z1 cameras, which aren’t big
and ugly!, and small radio mics), which ensures that the quality of your
film will be excellent.
We edit all our films at our in-house editing suite, and use subtle
broadcast effects, when they’re needed (we promise there will be no folding
pages or heart shape borders!). We create beautiful opening sequences, and
menu pages, and finally we put a ‘grade’ on your film to remove any
harshness.
A film is the only way to capture your whole milestone event, so you, and
your family and friends can relive it whenever you want – and share it with
future generations!
